Hi fishes, My interview with Microsoft for SE2 was scheduled and cancelled a day before. Neither I received any email regarding cancellation nor the recruiter informed me. Two days later I got an email saying Microsoft is freezing hiring for certain departments and the recruiter is ghosting me. Will I even get a chance to interview atleast?

How many locations does Tiger Analytics have?
I have received offer from Qualcomm. They haven't mentioned about relocation bonus or accommodation in the offer letter. I have tried reaching the hr since the next day of hr round but they haven't responded to my calls or mails. Any advice on how to get accommodation and relocation bonus. Or is it not possible anymore? FYI I'm in city x and the offered position is in city y of another state.

After several follow ups Hr have agreed they will give the relocation bonus and reimbursement

I guess you are at level of 3-5 yoe. Thats very early in career. So better choose pay over comfort to grow at a good pace. Unless people are dependent at ur presence at home.
In my opinion, 28000/- extra per month wont benefit you that much. Much of it will go to rent, grocery, cook etc. If you are having good learning in your current project and have mental peace I would suggest stay there. After some time when wfh will end or when you will get a higher package at higher experience, you can switch. Or you can use the new offer to adjust your package in current company.

Join Deloitte anyday, its a whopping 33% growth in salary at the same time better company than infosys on your resume.
I believe Deloitte also started their offices in Lucknow or planning to.
Once thats done you can rather get transferred to Lucknow.
Also currently there may be offices at Gurugram or Noida as well but cost of living will shoot up compared to Hyderabad.
Yes u r right there is office in lucknow but they said they are hiring for mumbai , hyderabad and banglore so i chose Hyderabad is there any way to get transfer to diff. Location in Delloite or work from any office of the delloite.
I was in at a similar situation 2 months back. Before making your decision keep this in mind that if you're resigning before completion of 1 year, you won't be eligible for rehire. I'm involved in an end to end project and learning a lot here.

Based on the salary in hand, I don't think where you are in a age where you should be worried about WFH, unless you have some serious responsibilities at home.
You are in the age where you should be worried about learning, growth and width of your job description. You should be worried about which is job that will make you stagnant. Then you should take into consideration the money.
WFH will be important some day, but not right now.

I did similar mistake 3 years back and switched job for 30% hike and 2 day WFO ,Trust me your most of the weekends will go in travelling and you will not able able to focus on work as you will have travel plan to make/execute every week or biweekly.
If you were my younger brother i would have asked you to stay back in varanasi and enjoy life parallelly. Everything that glitters is most of the time not gold.
Does Deloitte usi consulting have a lot of travel?
Don't move for additional 28000/- Per month, there will be tax deduction on this. On top of that, your living expenditures will be huge, House Rent, Electricity Bill, Food, Transport. Better you stay in Infosys, ad there is work life balance. Look for other better opportunities and move.

@author if you resign and search, there is no guarantee that you will get a job which gives you WFH flexibility like Infosys does. There are very few companies that offer this flexibility and these days 1000’s of applicants apply for each of them

Better to find jobs in pune itself with better pay
Go for DUSI, better projects, higher growth and more hike in future when compared to WITCH.
You will see the difference after 2/3 years when you will get promoted in DUSI.
Did this happen because they did late in giving offer?
cauz interview happened after i started working in infosys but i thought lets give it i was not that serious but cleared all round of interview , now i’m in confusion . 🥹
Why were you looking for a change. You have to decide between short term benefit vs long term hain. Deloitte will be better for career growth and your profile too
Plus they r giving u 40k more.
Introspect what you want to do.
O enStay in Varanasi and get regular work and money or grow.
Hyd has v good companies. Career growth is no match between the two.
Higher salary is always better. btw can you tell me how many rounds did Deloitte USI has ? and how much time it took for the whole process? thank you
