It’s not bad but that’s due to AFS generally having lower pay but great wlb.
I’ve heard the wlb is amazing in federal
WLB depends on you and what project your staffed. At a 9 though it’s pretty solid especially if you’re looking to coast. If you are ambitious it’s up and down. Some weeks 20 hrs of work some weeks 60. For ref I was hired in 2 years ago at 85k with a 8k sign on and got salary adjusted after 10 months to 105k but that’s project dependent and if you’re good
That seems low for L9 AFS. Would think the median external offer is ~110k.
That seems low. I make $90k base as a CL10, homegrown.
AFS DC
Damn Accenture Federal ppl getting shafted. I got an offer as an L9 in S&C for 140k
I got the highest you could at L9 and was like 8%
Reasonable, accept and grow.
AFS wlb is fantastic but I made over that as a homegrown C 2 years ago.

Which city?
OP, what level are you at Deloitte? I just left Deloitte GPS in July as a homegrown C2 and jumped over to AFS as a Level 9 Delivery Specialist. Their offer to me was six figures, so I’d suggest you try to negotiate!
In 2016 I came on AFS as CL-9 at $100K with $4K relo bonus. It was the initial offer. That was 6 years ago…
Get $95 or $100k if you can negotiate. I have a L10 career counselee making $90k AFS, hired last year. What I think is happening is that AFS was making huge offers to new hires for past 2 years, and finally realized home grown are unhappy about descrepancy and ready to walk, so now they’re scaling back. Just a guess
This said, my first year as an AFS consultant I made 87.5K. Then I got bumped to 100k my second year
