Could anyone speak to the culture/people aspect of McKinsey London?

Lucky enough to have offers from MBB straight out of university, and my top priorities are culture/people, exit opps and work-life balance.

Leaning towards BCG on this basis as I unfortunately didn't click with any interviewers or buddies at McK.

I am currently into the SAP Security domain and I absolutely do not have any interest in it. I am planning to shift to development and have started on some courses on my own.

My question is, is there any future prospects in SAP UI5 and Fiori? Since my background is in SAP, I assume it will make a domain switch easier.

Or should I move into the JS-React path since there seems to be a lot of demand? But my worry is about my lack of actual work experience

Anyone else having trouble finding free fraud based CPE trainings? My job does not pay for these things so I wasnt sure if anyone else had a solution or source. I have passed the screening for BCG and McK, and will perform Casey and Imbellus respectively this weekend. Applied with 8 YOE in petrochemical industry. My question is about case interview preparation, I have been mainly practicing candidate-led style so far and don't have much info about interviewer-led approach that McK utilizes. Considering short time-frame to prepare, which strategy should I follow? Are these styles very different?

Had a first 30-minute interview with an HR professional at Bain. It seemed to go pretty good and it seemed like they wanted to put me in front of the manager for the second round (their words, not mine). But they didn’t contact me for 4-5 days after the interview so I reached out to them for an update. They responded that they will have update for me on Friday and asked me for a good time to call me. I’m really confused by this behavior. Is this a rejection coming my way?

Are ppl worried about being on the bench esp when there aren’t a lot of projects in the pipeline? New hire here about to be up for staffing for the first time and sentiment at my firm seems to be worried/fearful about being unstaffed. Is it actually worrisome to be on the bench in this environment or is this just a product of highly ambitious over achievers worrying about not being constantly utilized?
