I am a graduating student who just got offered 65k for a solution analyst role at Deloitte USDC (Data Engineering Focus). From reading previous posts it seems to be a lot of negative thoughts surrounding the USDC, but straight out of college is this a good opportunity?
I'm looking to gain as much experience as possible out of college in an IT role and wondering what exit opportunities may be in place a year or two down the road if there is little/slow progression.
Any Advice?

You won’t get an adjustment
You are screwed
Ask HR what the COLA is (you should know that before you move there)
Wow people are so mean. Talk to your HR and find out if they offer geo-based salary or national pay.
They did. I got screwed a bit. They merged it with my promo increase. Just a tiny bit though. Google COLA and see the rates
If you are moving at the firms request, I would always expect an increase. Although some firms do not vary pay by geography.
They key thing is your firms request...need to have business case. If not but you’re someone
they want to keep and move on good terms you may get a market adjustment bump but that’s based on COLA, which is about 10% from Atlanta to NYC. That’s it. Over time you can get closer to market based on performance but that will a long term (next annual review) before it happens
