How much is the average time to complete recruitment process at Credit Suisse ? I started my process in July, I would have already joined another in the next month and they haven’t completed there process? I haven’t heard back from recruiter in last 3 weeks ? Does that mean i am rejected?
I need help with my interviewing skills
Hello people, how common is a Amazon to PWC move ?
I’m interviewing for a Senior Associate role and TC seems to be more competitive than role in L5.
TC $114k- Base AMZ- $73k +$38kstocks ( vesting 17k$ due next year)
TC $135k Base PWC -$81$ + Bonuses ( 50k$)
Looking for managerial skills which the PWC role avails, and L6 promo doesn’t seem to be happening soon in current role. I’m also mentally stretched. I hear WLB in PWC is just as busy but can anyone confirm if this move makes any sense. Google Amazon
Does anyone have experience interviewing with Deloitte Internal Services? I had my final interview a week and a half ago, and received positive feedback throughout. The hiring manager had positive things to say and mentioned they hoped to make a decision by the end of last week. It’s now Friday the week after. The role still shows as “Interviews in Process.” We did discuss potential start dates, but no salary. Any experience with receiving offers for an internal services role? Is this common?

Play up your actual skills over title as at many boutiques, titles don't have the same meaning as at large consulting firms.
Many firms at the Manager level may require business development. Leverage any relevant work you’ve done and potential/strong client relationships or understanding of your focus area which would lead to additional business to the new firm are areas of likely discussion during interviews. Also, you will need to be able to demonstrate previous leadership skills and people management ability. Experience around budgeting, forecasting etc. may also be explored.
Comes down to how you present yourself and who you know at that firm. Don’t settle if you feel you should be at the level...

It would be tough, easier to do from a competitor than from a smaller firm.
If you can show that you were doing manager level activities you might have a chance, for instance:
- routinely leading teams on a workstream
- routinely managing a workstream and owning client relationships
- leading development of proposals
One of the reasons it would be tough is that they want you to succeed. It's safer to bring you in as a senior consultant where you have room to fail and develop, rather than a manager where you will not be given any grace if you mess up.
