Deloitte experienced hires who all received written offers, have you heard back anything about hiring freeze/ delay joining date?
My visa processing is undergoing and got submitted with USCIS couple of days back. I gave an update to my recruiter and mentioned that once there’s a decision we can finalize the joining date and accordingly will put my 2 weeks. To which recruiter responded back “Yes we should talk before you put notice” - Am I overthinking? Or there’s a chance they would rescind? Deloitte
Lol they just probably wanna align on start date with you before you put your notice to make sure everyone is aligned and onboard. Don’t read too much into it

Didnt they just announce a hiring freeze + hearing about rescinding? Not saying its true, just saying this was all over the grapevine last 1-2 days. Good luck for your joining and hope everything goes smooth!
More like the last 1-2 weeks or 1-2 months. No clue how much truth there is to it though.
Yeah seems like your recruiter is just agreeing that it’s a good idea to align before you give notice so you’re not out of work for less/more than you want.

There is only a slight hiring freeze for certain OPs at this point mostly where profile hiring was occurring. The decision to rescind notices was NOT made so any that are in motion are not frozen….and again it was only for certain skill sets not an all out freeze.
