Hi all. I am trying to determine if I am being compensated fairly. I am a tax manager (about to start my second year as manager) and have been with EY since staff 1. I was promoted to manager in June 2020 (during covid) and received a 7.5% raise. The class above me has mentioned they received much higher raises during their promotion years. My base salary is now approx. 97K. Any insights would be extremely helpful. Thanks!

Have a formal offer at Citi for 120K as an AVP in the NY office. Currently making 92K at my current role where I feel there’s not much room to grow anymore. Is this a fair offer? I currently WFH pretty much full time at my current role which has been amazing, but it seems like Citi would require me to be there 2-3 days in the office per week - and this is something I’m very hesitant about. Thoughts on how to approach this?

Sorry, which firm did you want responses from? Think I missed it
Once you’re past the recruiter phone screen phase, you’ll meet with the hiring manager who will mostly ask you questions about your experience and aspects of the new job description. If you clear that phase, you will probably go into a “LOOP” interview. It’s basically a day with 5-6 back to back interviews. They will all focus on the Amazon Leadership Principles, not as much on the actual job you’re interviewing for. You will need to have good examples that demonstrate how you applied their principles in your work. They will want details about the situation, what you did, and the results. They will generally also ask what you would do differently, if you could do it again.
One person in the LOOP will be the “bar raiser”. They will be someone not associated with the hiring manager or team. They are the lead for the process and have the duty to make sure Amazon is raising the bar with each hire. They will probably push you the most for more details, better examples, lessons learned, etc. If you make it past the LOOP, you should be at the offer stage.

There are companies like tryexponent.com who can coach for FAANG interviews (I have not used them)
It doesn’t really matter from which firm is the response, just asking for anyone who has experience interviewing with Amazon for Sr. program manager role. Any insight will e super helpful. Thank you!
