Currently I work as a implementation consultant in a fast growing B2B SaaS company. We just recently received a funding round of 500M EUR, but I don’t have any stake in the company yet (only joined 5 months ago). I got an offer for EY-P but turns out the compensation is a bit lower than my current salary (~50kEUR). I’m really interested in strategy & PE cdd, but never done it before. I’m worried that the opportunity cost is too high if I leave my current company. Really appreciate some advice!

Am looking for a new role but who knows how long it will take for a final offer, and I don’t know if it would be right to quit my job and rest. I feel so burned out and trapped. I am currently a Senior Consultant in KPMG Australia’s human capital advisory function - however I have been recently offered a role with Accenture Australia’s human capital advisory function as an ‘Associate Manager’ with a 15K salary bump and an enticing bonus structure - with some very cool clients that they mentioned to me in their interview round. The issue is, my KPMG Partner has mentioned that I *may* be up for promotion nxt July. I am so stuck, not sure whether to take it or not.

Question for those who also struggle with depression (or other mental illness): how do you handle being in a busy time (55-60ish hours billed weekly for a few weeks in a row) while also in a depressive episode?
