Despite possessing extensive technical experience, a thorough understanding of the process, and the ability to join the organization immediately, I received feedback from the recruiter regarding communication issues during the interview.

Has anyone else experienced similar feedback from recruiters during the hiring process?

I've had three interviews so far: 1) with the recruiter, 2) with the hiring manager, 3) with the lead of an adjacent division. I was contacted by the hiring manager (just 5 days after interview 3) asking if I was still interested and if I'm available for another meeting. He mentioned it would only take 30 minutes. I don’t know what’s going so wrong.

I have applied to 42 jobs and received 20 rejections, with 0 opportunities to even interview.

My resume is from WSO template, and I used suggested wording from various popular resume websites.

I don’t understand why I’ve gotten such a large amount of rejections. Am I applying to position in under or over qualified for? Does my resume suck? Is it just a bad time to apply? How do I improve from here?

Any books/self help materials for someone who is constantly worrying (and waste a lot of unnecessary time)? E.g. No matter if i pass or fail an interview, there is always something to worry about. The worrying/anxiety multiplies when I proceeded further in the interview stages. Now that I signed the offer and is pending background checks, my anxiety is off the roof as it itches closer to my starting date.
