I handled an active caseload of 500, predominantly MVA’s but also city slip/trip and fall cases.

Then you get an interview and they tell you it’s remote/hybrid(1-2-3days, take your pick)/on-site. Recently got an offer for salesforce sales strategy (105K TC) vs Morgan Stanley IB Strategy (135K TC). Salesforce will be 40-50 hours a week remote until 2022 and then will have a hybrid working model, most likely going in office 2-3 times a week vs Morgan Stanley will be on average 60 hours a week in office full time. Is it worth the 30K extra in compensation to commute to office daily + 10-20 more hours per week? In terms of pay progression, I think Morgan Stanley will definitely be a lot fast

The issue I am having is managing volume. I have about 150 active files some pre-lit and the rest are in litigation. Cases range in value from very small to low six figures. Hi all, new-ish associate here at a Virginia firm - quick question: if a pleadings filing deadline for a GDC case ends up being on a Saturday or Sunday, does that mean that it can actually be filed by that following Monday since the court and clerk's office will be open then?

I have a dumb question... I have my first jury trial coming up in a few months. It's a 3-day auto accident trial. I'm the plaintiff attorney. My question is, should I have my client present the entire three days, or am I okay to tell them that they're fine to leave after they testify?

Does anyone like ID work? Currently doing work at a PI/Medmal plaintiffs firm while in school and trying to figure out where I’ll be happiest post-grad. I LOVE it, but don’t know if ID will provide more security. For context, I had a, albeit, short career prior to law school and will 30 when I graduate in May. I received a job offer from a PI firm (MVA and tractor trailer cases) in Houston, Texas; the bonus proposed was 2.5% of attorney’s fees for any cases settled each quarter. We are assigned 50 cases a quarter and the top attorney clears $25K each quarter. This is my first time working at a PI firm. Can anyone share any guidance? Is 2.5% industry standard? Is it realistic to settle/resolve that many cases? I am trying to learn more about this niche before I counter-offer and attempt to negotiate.

How long does it take for an insurance adjuster to review a demand letter and contact with an offer? Fault is not contested in this case. I sent the demand and records 3 weeks ago. They contacted me after I sent it to confirm they received it.

What’s a good LA or NY business litigation firm and salary to expect? I’m a 2yr with quite frankly a lot of experience across civ rights, PI, excessive force, wrongful death, employment defense, K dispute, corp. structure dispute, professional licensure.
