I grew up very poor. I get extreme anxiety and shame when I spend money above $20. Deep down I feel like I should scrounge and save every penny. I use bath towels that are 10 years old and threadbare cause I can't bring myself to buy a "luxury item" despite making oodles of money and have a ton saved and invested.

I interviewed at a law firm and had my final round last Friday. The Tuesday afterward, I got a call from the recruiter saying the firm won’t have a decision for another week. I believe they’re interviewing other candidates. Does that make me second or third choice? And does the fact that I’m working with a recruiter hurt my chances of being selected due to the commission? LCSW 50k loan repayment- Has anyone been granted a contract through the National Health Service Corps Loan Repayment Program?
