Hello Verizon fellows, In Deloitte, there's a facility to claim a certain reimbursement for purchasing mobile devices through their portal or something. Similarly, do VDSI employees have any discounts or reimbursement for purchasing devices through Verizon? If so, kindly let me know how to check it out. Thanks in advance.

Drive -- I like having my own car and by the time you get to the airport early enough, fly, wait for baggage, etc, it's a 4-5 hour process anyway. Same for going to Las Vegas.
Very valid point. I hate that you have to get to he airport 2 hours early. Why can't we just walk to the gate and show our IDs then
I prefer to drive. I am from there and know my way around.
I use to prefer flying, it was the quicker option but lately dealing with the airport and the other flyers has been a nightmare. Why can't people just get on the plane and sit in the assigned seat without causing a headache for everyone? I'm so sick of people holding up security arguing with TSA or trying to steal others' assigned seats. Flying isn't supposed to be so complicated
Fly! But I can understand why people who want to drive. I'm sure it's a very scenic route

I love any excuse to drive. And I’m immuno compromised so even more reason to drive. But I’ve had to go out for a one day meeting and don’t mind flying if o have to.
Honestly it ends up taking just as long flying door-to-door, you may as well fly
Drive, ideally through it as quickly as possible so I can get up north...
I love driving to Southern California, especially if I have time to take the scenic route and explore some coastal towns. But flying is usually the more practical option if I'm short on time or it's a business trip.
Any recommendations on these coastal towns?
Fly. If the company pays, I prefer to use that time at the airport and airplane to relax.
I usually fly because I have a busy schedule and must maximize my time. Plus, flying is more comfortable and efficient than driving, especially with the traffic in Southern California.
I fly! I use any excuse to accumulate miles with the company's money!
That's a good strategy. I feel like the cost of gas and airline tickets are about the same so at least with flying you will get rewards
Definitely fly. I hate driving so that trip would be a bt much for me
It depends on what I'm going for and how long I'm staying. If I'm staying for more than a week to visit family or friends I will drive but fly if it's a short trip
Very valid points were made in this thread OP. I just looked to try to decide because I actually have a trip planned to SoCal and now I'm even more indecisive than before
Wife and I chose to drive for our upcoming trip, that way we don’t have to rent a car while down there :)
That drive on Interstate 10 is soooo long and boring from Phoenix to Socal; feel like I could do it with my eyes closed (I won't)
I always prefer flying. It is more convenient and it saves me travel time. I hate long drives maybe because of my back surgery.
Depends on the trip. If it’s for work, fly. For vacation, drive
Fly. I work for an airline so if I don't have to drive anywhere, I won't.
