I wonder if I can ask some risk practice specific questions at the end of the interviews. (Didn’t get the names of the interviewers yet so I cannot google)

After submitting my resume for the Global Finance and Business Management full time position at JP Morgan (my dream job!), I got a HireVue invite the next day! However, I completed it 9 days ago and still have no response....
When do we get a response in average, and after how much time does it mean I probably am not getting an offer to continue?
Thanks!

Got a random email from a supposed Amazon recruiter for a SDE position (which is not at all a fit). The email is amazon.com domain and there are no red flags in the body but it doesn't feel like an Amazon recruiter due to the tacky signature, etc. Has anyone seen this kind of cold-calling from FAANG recruiter?
Anyone works at Goodwin? I’ve been interested and applying in the last few weeks, so far, I am intrigued. I’m currently in the LA area, I’m planning to stay but I’m open to relocating either SF or Boston as well. If any can connect to their Recuritment or Talent Acquisition Team or any references, information or connections! Let me know!
Dear Amdocs Hiring Team, Thanks for the worst experience. You guys took almost 2 months for hiring process, asked for all the documents, even shared the CTC breakup over email and at last after multiple follow ups over calls and emails, you replied by stating that "Unfortunately , we are not moving ahead with your candidature at moment." When I asked the reason, you are clueless till now what to say? You guys even don't have enough courage to respond my calls. #Amdocs #Hiring

Unless it’s a super small company they won’t have any idea you even applied before
Def apply! Things change and you never know why you didn’t get the previous jobs. It’s a fickle biz.
Apply! 18 months is a long time. You likely have grown and you likely won’t even interface with the same people this time. Good luck!
This is a weird way to look at a potential employer. If you want the job, apply. As long as it isn't for the same position you just got rejected from it doesn't matter
Not really. It does show that you really want to work in such a company but it isn't a bad thing. It maybe so happened that during your previous application, competition was tough or have had greater edge. I say go for it still.
To clarify– Not really one you'd call desperate. I realize I directly responded to the last question, forgetting the question before that and it might be misunderstood as not worth it. Sorry.

I once applied to the same position six months after I had been rejected, and got the job. I had been the runner up. I framed my second attempt with how and what I had started to focus on improving.
If they think less of you for trying again, well then you dodged a bullet and shouldn't care at all about their opinion of you anyway.
Definitely apply! I wanted to work at this one company years ago, but was rejected each time. Finally when I applied again, I got hired ironically enough in the HR dept. I then heard what went on during their hiring process. I specifically remember someone talking to the HR manager about someone else who was applying multiple times, her response was “well if the person really wants to work here maybe we should reinterview them, because we want people who want to be here.” With that said, you may seem desperate and they will lowball you, so make sure right off the bat you know your worth and DON’T take a super low offer with intention of getting a “major raise” in the future-because it won’t happen.
Definitely. People get hired after multiple attempts all the time. It shows them you’re into them.
Did you get to interview last time you applied?
Yes. Two rounds. It’s a mid size shop
Our industry has had tons of turnover. The people you interviewed with might no longer be there.
It's definitely worth it! You could have been a top contender during your previous interviews. Now that you're back you could be a frontrunner.
Nah, I have done it. It never hurts to apply again! I say go for it. What do you have to lose?
