Yes, this can be influenced by the nature of the predominate industries around each area. For example, New York will have more financial services engagements than San Francisco or Los Angeles. But San Francisco and Los Angeles might have more IFCS projects relating to wildfires than Boston or DC.
Location of Channel 1 clients can also make a difference - for example, Bay Area teams might be more limited in what services they can offer to many large tech companies because they are already EY audit clients.
The great thing about EY Forensics is that they’re a national practice and you can theoretically be staffed on any project based out of any office! If you’re particularly interested in a specific industry that your home office doesn’t tend to work on, make that known, network with those you’d want to work with someday, and most teams are usually pretty good about keeping that in mind when opportunities arise.
