Had a prelim negotiation call with ACN, HR gave a ballpark of 10% and I said 25% for which she mentioned is tough at this time now with the current market but the HR mentioned that she will get back after having a final discussion with the leadership and then we can have the final negotiation conversation. Hope the EY offer goes well
When I got an offer from ACN 2 years ago it was roughly 10% less than Big 4 with no signing bonus and I was told it was the top of their pay band
Thanks for the reply
Accenture pays less but had a lot better WLB in my experience.
No independence requirements was nice too.
Currently in Delloite, about to get an offer from ACN and will mostly get an offer from EY as well, both for NY location. So thought of getting the data before the negotiation call.
Wanna come to EYP.?
Don’t accept less than what you’re making/should be making. I had WITCH company reach out to me to offer me an SC role and I told them no because I’m already a Manager at a big4 and they’re offering less than what I currently make
Accenture is decently competitive with B4 from junior-mid levels.
The ceiling is much lower the closer you get to leadership, however, largely due to public vs. private company profit sharing, etc. differences. We don’t have traditional “partners” here.
Had a call with ACN recruiter. They were offering the same for the same level with a reset on milestone year timeline. Took a hard pass.
What Deloitte position?
I would expect ACN to be less if you are doing strategy work at the big4. ACN is known more are an SI than strategy firm. Strategy rates are higher and pay more as a result

What level and which practice would you be coming into? Pay varies greatly depending on those variables.
EY pays less on the way up, more if you make partner.
