Mid level Electrical Engineer in the greater Baltimore, MD area making $115k base w/ $20k sign on bonus. No yearly bonus. I started this job in April of this year. 2-3 years experience. When I onboarded they told me to expect promotion to EE III in about a year. I am open to fullstack role but my interests is more towards backend.
But I am concerned that I would be put into frontend only and a I would not be given backend work or else it could be 20-80(B&F).

I have joined one of big3 consulting. Everything is good here except the fact that company is calling employees back to base location. I feel like I should resign and search for permanent remote role because my presence at my home town with my family is more important right now due to ill health of parents.. Just received a new of one of the former senior manager passed away due to a massive heart attack. Early 40s. I am at loss of words. Such a genius of a guy. Amongst the most hard working people I have come across. I still can’t believe the news. Cannot even fathom what his family might be going through.
