I notice this is a pretty serious issue at work but it also happens in my daily life, where for some reason I don’t seem to grasp details or what they mean sometimes. For reference, I have been diagnosed with hyposomnia (opposite of insomnia where I’m actually tired all the time)..not sure if that’s what’s causing this
Stress deninishes cognitive areas or you might just need sleep
Always. Also feel like I forget things. Like if I'm trying to put in a number in excel, I'll have to go back and reread the digits even tho I just saw that number seconds ago.
Stress, sleep loss and depression will have a significant effect on short-term memory and ‘executive function’ - which is all about judgment and decision-making (in psychiatric terms)
