Does anyone else get serious Monday brain fog? I open my laptop and just… stare for a minute. It takes a while to remember where I left off, sort through client and team emails, and get back into a rhythm after the weekend.

Curious how others reset and get into the “work zone” quickly on Mondays. Any routines, rituals, or systems that actually help you start the week with some momentum? 🧠💻

Yeah I’d say give yourself about 10 mins to just breathe and open your mailbox to decide the best way to tackle work task.

I get that at times, I'll look at something and have to remember where I was last week. It's usually not anything too serious, it's almost like I'm resetting my brain or something. I usually find it kind of amusing.

Glad I’m not the only one. Thanks.

Same for me. I don't try to tackle anything I have to think seriously about first thing in the morning. I do email follow ups, pended work that I just need to check on, try to sort priorities for the week. By afternoon I'm usually back in a groove but being a morning person, still don't get a lot done.

Hi Fishes,

I have given my interview in HCL and cleared 1 TP, 1 hcl manager & Client TP and Client Manager rounds .
In initial screening HR told the generic statement of 30-40% and I have given my ask as 50% minimum. After clearing the rounds I heard from the project team that Client has given great feedback and wanted to take me in .
What is the % I can ask in HR Discussion and will they reject in HR if I ask more now .
I have 9.5 years total experience and role is Storage Architect.
Thanks
