Find an AI Assistant you like. AI is a game-changer for ADHD brains (along with stimulants, of course). If you have a company-sponsored Microsoft Copilot with Office 365, use that for work items and another for personal. (If you need to balance both in 1 place, consider the privacy concerns and decide.) Microsoft stands by its security of the data so that you don't get privacy and legal hits on your work info. There are several other to choose from: ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude, Perplexity...it's worth paying the monthly fee. You can talk or type into it and make your own personal LLM with all of your tasks and ask it to organize and prioritize them for you. If you're in Microsoft Copilot, it will take all emails, Teams messages and calls, docs in your OneDrive, etc. and I like to use this prompt: "Out of all my communications, tell me who will be angry with me if I don't respond soon." There is a whole new world opening up for ADHD brains with AI; the world is changing, so get in on the change sooner, rather than later.

I appreciate the benefits of AI but I cannot get reconcile the environmental impacts and privacy concerns so that is not an option for me at this time. I’m an attorney so granting a third party access to such sensitive information carries its own risks and concerns for me too.
Break down each task into subtasks, and even further down if needed. Evaluate which are most crucial to start with. If unsure, run by your manager which you think is highest priority.
This is the way. A way to visualize it is to place one foot in front of the other. Just do that much. Then, do the same thing again with your other foot. Then, repeat.
Keep to that simple routine and you've walked miles before you even realize it.
yes, on wednesday i literally put in my timesheet 1 hour, unbillable, stressed and overwhelmed
to address it, one, i can sometimes just sleep it off. might be a bad day, but tomorrow try to start fresh
two, try and organize the list of things and just start from the top
i think it’s important to remember it’s ok to have bad days. good days only exist because they are compared to the bad ones :)

Thank you for this. I do think a lot of it just comes down to giving ourselves grace when we need it. I took 2 calls on Friday and spent the rest of the day sleeping because I felt so rundown. I’ll make a list and start again Monday 🥲

I am on meds but there is only so much medication can do on its own.
I use a task management tool at work. Every request I get goes in there and is sorted by due date then priority. I have fields for point of contact and where the request was made so I know where to go to respond as well.
