After you start. I'd set a meeting with People Team to discuss the need then talk with the manager afterward. Follow up with email to both HR & manager thanking then both for ongoing support and list the specific accommodations BCC your personal email.
Unless you disclosed as part of the initial questionnaire I wouldn’t worry about waiting to share accommodation needs after accepting the offer, just before your start date. Some places will email you specifically asking if you need accommodations prior but others you will need to assert yourself. It is the law that they comply and there is no need to tell them prior if you feel it will make them look at you differently.
I usually disclose when completing the application. Does this mean the company will approach me about accommodations?
I can’t speak to all companies, but I was hired by B4 recently and they did contact me with additional information about accommodations and how to request if needed. That said, in the past I have had companies not ask at all, most likely because I disclosed in their initial questionnaire that I did not need accommodations.
