Amex centurion lounge 👌🏻
I do. It depends on what you’re looking for. The $200 Uber credit helps a ton, and now they just added a $100 credit to Saks. When you fly delta you can use the Sky Club. The targeted points offer usually makes up the cost of it in the first two years
If the benefits provided are part of your regular use then it’s helpful. I don’t uber much unless traveling on a project. So the $200 credit is hard to justify. Same goes with other perks.
Airline credits + Uber credits + Delta sky club + centurion makes the $550 worth it for me
If you’re based out of an airport with a centurion lounge than 100% need to get it
If you were only interested in the points. You could potentially triple dip the airline credit if you apply early December, netting you $600 worth of airline credit.
Worth it for the first year at least. Hate how they make it difficult to use some of the benefits and it's hard for the average user to get good value out of the points
What A1 said or if you fly Delta and don't already have lounge access. Otherwise, probably not.
Getting Gold at SPG (which temporarily got matched to gold at Marriott, which was a higher tier) was worthwhile for me since my current engagement is only traveling every few weeks. The travel perks (centurion/DL lounges and Uber/airline credits) make it worth it.
It’s not the best for points, but that’s not the point. I put most of my purchases on the platinum (better purchase protection stuff) and then use my CSR for personal travel and bars/restaurants.
How do you get the uber credit. Have Amex platinum already
Add the card to your uber account (gotta type in the number, can’t do it with Apple Pay)
