I got H1B Visa and 83000 USD dollar petition amount as annual package.I am confused as this amount will be enough to survive there with wife and 7 year old daughter. My wife is working here and together we are earning 50LPA annual. We are settled here by owning house too.Confusion is my wife will not be able to work there on H4 Visa so the kind of life we are living here will not be possible there.Thoughts?Suggestions?Pros and Cons?

I have a Venture X - are you looking specifically at the Venture? Happy to provide details on the X!
Third what A1 said. Recently “paid” for my wife to have a nice “momcation” away from the kids using the $300 credit.
Such a good card.
Double points on everything.
Hertz presidential, TSA, lounge and great transfer partners especially if you head towards Europe on your vacations
I also have the venture X, and keep it.
Pros:
2x everywhere
Travel credit, annual points bonus
Priority pass (no restaurants though), global entry etc
Primary car insurance
10x hotels on the portal are actually often the best price (unlike Chase)
Actually good partners (lifemiles, Turkish, plus the usuals)
Cons:
Only 2x, so it’s better to use other cards in most situations
Travel credit isn’t automatic, you have to book via the portal
I’ve had frauds twice in 2 years on this one card, not any other of my 15+ cards. Something may be up on their end
No good hotel options
No Hyatt
Fewer transfer bonuses
Pro
It’s overrated because people want to shill their referrals (Cap 1 gives big referral bonuses) so you get incentivized hype.
It’s a great card for everyday spend as the 2x base on non bonus categories is very good.
But it has notable downsides. Bonus categories really pivot around using the travel portal, which is generally a bad idea (never put yourself in situations where you have to rely on a third party during IRROPS, bad idea to book via channels that don’t recognize elite status, etc.). Capital One is also worse than Chase and Amex at basic stuff like app functionality
All in all, compelling card as part of a broader credit card portfolio, but still worse than the CSR on the premium card market.
Be sure you know they are going to approve you. They pull all credit reports and often decline people who are 800+. You should be able to check what you are pre-approved for.
