Yes, I use a real estate minded CPA. I previously used a small business minded CPA, and even though that cost me several hundred dollars, he saved me thousands in both taxes and headaches.

When I switched to a real estate minded CPA as my real estate investments grew, the cost went up significantly but so did my tax savings. The right accountant can guide you down a path that will save you 5 figures in taxes per year, which more than funds their fees.

Also, the CPA doesn’t need to be located where you are. Most real estate minded CPA’s will operate across all 50 states because the nuances of state tax law are small compared to the federal tax law where most of your taxes are going.

For you guys,is the interest details showing any amount in the EPFO member passbook? Or is it showing '0' like me(As seen in the photo below)?

Any inputs will be really appreciated 🙂

Out of curiosity. How would a company view a potential candidate who has a period of unemployment to study for the CPA. I am considering to start studying for the exam but I know I would need to leave my employer in order to give 110%. I am contemplating the idea of at least passing one part while employed. Then leaving my employer to study FAR. I am considering to leave my current employer anyways, so it’s more of how my future employer would view that lapse.

Hi guys,

I need an advice/suggestion here. I got an offer from 2 different organisations and choose one among them (Role: Analyst) because of the culture and benefits. And the other offer has a good pay and good designation (Associate Consultant) rather than the one I choose. Now i feel very low due to this decision that I took. I feel like I have settled down for a lower package and a lower designation. Is there anything that I can do in the current organisation that I’ve joined at a week back

I'm early in my career, managed to save $30K to invest, and want to get my hands dirty with a rental property without too much risk (e.g. no HML/flipping). Due to a family situation we are looking to move to a different state. Normally we would sell our current home and buy a new home in our new location. However, with todays prices and interest, will it make more sense to rent out our current home and rent a home ourselves vs. selling and buying immediately when we move? We are moving from Vegas to Sacramento and we are not sure how long we would stay in the new area. Thoughts?
