I’ve worked at three different firms. The people here are the most real and genuine of the three I worked at. They care about your life outside of the work stuff. Work is still work, but within and outside of that there are some great relationships.

One of the thing I thought of was what happens when company grows through Acquisition? Like wouldn't the culture not be the same since each new entity already developed their own style.?
Make manager at big 4 then switch
As someone that does a lot of interviewing and recruiting at an experienced level I actually don’t know if this is the best advice across the board, if you are staying in PA, being a manager at big 4 doesn’t get you anything more, in fact we have people come from big 4 that have to catch up because we work on a diverse group of clients and industries for example in the tax group whereas in the big 4 they only did one particular thing. It could be beneficial it could not. Just saying.
In audit it’s different, specifically when you are leaving PA.
And if you leave earlier to a firm that you feel is a better fit and for better pay than you are making more from earlier in your career
