The best deep tissue massages I’ve gotten are from the Asian places in strip malls. I Heart Massage in Decatur or Jiao Reflexology in midtown. They look like seedy fronts for sex work but they aren’t! I was shocked by how good they were! Although they are not fancy spas, those ladies will fix you for some of the most affordable prices around. Easily better than the fancy places.

Vayu Spa is wonderful!

Did Hotel Midtown spa last wknd - it was just eh.

Honestly, I go to Massage Envy. Good rates, lots of locations. I do the monthly membership plan.

+1 for Massage Envy. I’ve had to try a few therapists to find an excellent one but now I see the same person every month. It’s also great for travel because you can use it at locations in other states

Jeiju

Anything on Buford highway

Massage heights. Get the membership for 60 bucks a month and get one free service (massage or facial) and half off of all services

Li’s off Howell on the westside near Fellini’s is better than many resorts I’ve been to. Not a 5 star atmosphere but my neck feels much better and worth it

Healing iyashi in sandy springs. They have monthly specials so worth it

4 years sober today. So much to reflect on, not least of which how important it is to “get comfortable getting uncomfortable”. In my experience, it’s truly the only way forward.

Talk to me about side effects from progesterone. I’ve been on suppositories for 2 weeks in my TWW and im having the WILDEST side effects but also similar to pregnancy. I have the CRAZIEST dreams about peeing myself, helping Whitney Carson give birth in a bus. You name it I’m dreaming it. I also feel like I smell horribly. Like a new scent

I have a coworker who keeps spouting comparative odds and situations in regards to the safety of the vaccine. Such as: you're twice as likely to get hit by lightening than have blod clots from JJ. It's very annoying and I find it to be really inapprorpriate, maybe because it's pushy or just I find these comparative things to be a bit irrelevant. How does one handle something like that? Can you shut the person down without starting a spat?

Whenever i have a big deadline, my body goes into a panic mode where my energy immediately goes to figuring out how I’ll get something done well and on time. Outwardly, I don’t seem stressed so no one notices but actually I usually feel like I have a cold: fatigue, headache, sore throat, sinus infection. When a task is done, i stop feeling like crap. It’s been like this since law school. Any tips on managing stress or moving towards doing good work without my body shutting down lol?

Is genetic carrier screening prior to starting an ivf cycle necessary? I tested and found some disorders. Now my RE won’t start my cycle until my partner is tested. They are saying they will have to do special PGT tests if we are carriers of the same disorder. I am confused. I thought this type of testing was optional and usually recommended if you are using a donor. My guess is that they are booked and pushing me to the Jan cycle. Thoughts?

I was supportive of Lori when this virus first started but her actions since have dwindled my support of her. I don’t expect her to make every decision correct nor do we have to agree with all of them. I believe she should be correct around 75 percent of the time but I believe she is in the 50 percent range. I know everything doesn’t fall on her shoulder but things haven’t been great as of late. Hopefully they figure out something soon.

How would you handle not getting a lunch break when you are a salaried employee treating patients for 40 hours a week? I don’t get documentation time either, but all notes are to be completed the same day. Some of us have reached out to HR and we’re told to discuss it with the regional director, but the regional director says we’d have to come in early or leave late to block out a lunch break. My commute is an hour each way, so I’d prefer not to make my day any longer. Advice?

I’m looking for a new job, working remotely, that doesn’t require a Bachelor’s. (I’m currently going back to school to get one, as I only have an Associate’s in Mathematics right now)
I had positions in private sector that allowed me to supplement having a degree with experience but not in public sector. I’ve seen coworkers get positions they aren’t able to do simply because they have a degree and then leave a mess for me to clean up but I’m not allowed to have the position. Any suggestions?
