Anyone here at Luxoft with permanent remote ? I got an offer. Will they ask to come to office at any point ? What about job security at Luxoft ? HR mentioned 8 hours per day and no need to enter timesheet, time will be auto captured. That means like we can't be away from the system at all ? Please help.

Microsoft is hiring an account executive and I’m really interested in the role. I have B2B sales experience in a different industry, but my skills include lead generation, prospecting, account management, negotiating, etc (all within the C Suite and other decision makers).
Would appreciate knowing if this is something I have a shot at with no tech sales experience and what I could expect for promotional opportunities and compensation.

Really? How long it took you to make that?
Don’t. Do. It. If you have no sales experience, I hear Yelp on your resume really helps. You learn their sales process which I’m not in total agreement with but it is hard hard down your throat sales. If you have experience, definitely don’t do it. I guarantee what you’ve learned and probably been successful with will be indirect conflict with Yelps methodology.
Quick question-I’m just curious as to how long you’ve been in sales overall?

I had an interview and the hr person never showed. I then saw the many poor reviews and just said skip it. Plus I’m making much more.
I’ve heard horrible things about yelp sales team. I worked with five people they used to work there stay away.

Yelp is a waist of time, don't bother. Want to end up with bad reviews & have other people see it? then use Yelp.
DON'T DO IT! You will be pushed to your limits with immense pressure that never lets up, I've heard other departments are great to work for but once you're in sales, it's really hard to transfer. You will be told that it's not, it is. You'll be told they care about you as a person, they don't. The money can be great when things are good but when they're not it's horrible and be prepared for everything to be your fault b/c it's never theirs. Benefits are great, but not worth the stress that comes along with working for this company. Unless of course you are ok with people hating what you're selling, cursing you, hanging up on you and you still having to push forward and "convince" them that Yelp is the way to go.
I worked there for 3 years. Great job if you are starting out in sales. Not a great job long term. But I did learn a lot!

I have been at Yelp 6 months and am making more here than I have at any other jobs in the sales side.
It’s not for most people because you have to have incredible self discipline and work ethic to do the quality you need to to succeed as a work from home position. I myself have been promoted several times in the first 6 months and am going to be making over 6 figures.
Give it a shot if you are solid at sales and willing to grow and continue learning every day!
Lol....I was one of the more self disciplined reps there and could not last more than a year due to getting dropped in the cancel que more than one time. (made it up the ladder in finance field before and was making 6 figures before I left) Self discipline does not help when management wants you gone.... Due to poor leadership ( whole floor not hitting goal for 6\7 months I was there out of 9\10 months total). Also them jacking ideas and holding my last paycheck trying to get me to sign away my IP.... Stay away from this place if you don't want to get screwed.
They're now using that idea... "A chat bot... As most business owners are not sales people we could send them 1000 prospects and if they don't sell any of them....they leave and it's my fault and impacts my paycheck... ."last thing I said on the matter
Now that chat bot is live lol and is a paid feature from what I understand... I knew tech companies were garbage to people for IP. I did not know how far they would go...the inept leadership they have can hardly use tableau correctly... I made a report joining two\three reports together ( while inebriated btw) it got sent to the full leadership team....who were all " so impressed"... And wanted "more people to pitch in like I was"....
P.S I have the emails from me trying to get my last paycheck. Had to let them know I would seek legal action if they did not release my last check... Tried to pull the DocuSign they forced me to sign to show it but they pulled it since I wouldn't sign it.

This place is a joke. Their sales teams shoves products down peoples throats and does it incorrectly and or under false pretenses. Why my job was so hard....why I did not last... truthfully. I don't like cleaning up other people's whoopsies....and B's all day long. My job is to fix the clients stupidity and or ignorance not the companies...good luck crashing and burning or just thieving since y'all are a bunch of pirates lol

I left after almost four years. Wouldn’t suggest it unless you have no sales experience and even then what they teach you is a brutal method.
