Does Perkins Coie make attorneys receive bar admissions in the state they work in ? I see some attorney bios where attorneys are not barred in the state. I am looking for a firm with more geographic flexibility and they are hiring in my practice group. However, I have no desire to take another bar.

If you sit in/work out of X (state) office, youll need to be barred in that state. Otherwise, no. You can usually file pro hac based on others admitted in other states, if needed.

like

Their official office is not the office they are not barrred in. Perkins lets you list multiple offices in your bio for marketing purposes

When I worked there, you had a year to get barred in the state you worked in and that was written into the offer letter. If you failed, most people I know were able to re-take it. Very very few people I heard where ever given two tries.

I know that the more senior you get, character and fitness can take longer so that could be a hold up too.

like

what year are you? Can you waive in?

Does your residency in state count toward your time of practice? Some states won’t let that count.

You have to be barred in the state you live in and the state to which the office you are attached to is on the website.

Thoughts on Citi's Leveraged Portfolio Group at the Analyst level? I'm curious if anyone has additional details on the group for an Analyst spot. What does the group focus on in terms of work, what are hours like, decent exit Ops, interview process etc? Hi Guys,

I am a ReactJS developer (frontend) with 3.8 years of experience. I currently switched my company but they don't have an opening for ReactJS and kept me on a bench for 3 months and they are telling me now to learn AEM technology and work on the AEM project for now.
They hired me for a package of 16 LPA.
So my questions are is it a good technology to learn? Should I say yes and have a career in it?
Will I get the same package like ReactJS or less? What is future if compared with React?

Has anyone who's worked in HR, Finance, or another role with visibility to compensation information been able to use that as leverage for salary negotiations?

To put it bluntly, I know certain people with less experience and a lower performance rating are getting paid more than me due to my role working with payroll data. I suspect this was due to the fact that I did not counter offer when I accepted this role, which was a few months ago, and now I regret it.

Hi! I have a quick question and could use some advice:

I have 1 job offer that is an hour away and pays 45k, after negotiations (Research Associate Position at a University) .

I have just interviewed for a position closer to home and a base salary of 65k, but haven’t heard back from them in about 2 days (He said he would make a decision by yesterday and I’ve reached out).
I have to decide on the first offer by Thursday but I haven’t heard back from the second yet. Thoughts on next move?
