Sometimes I wear jeans, or comfy slacks with a low heel. I think if the sneakers aren't super beat up or anything it should be fine.
I would agree. I’ve worked at a couple of firms and jeans are okay to the extent they aren’t frayed. Khakis are widely accepted.
Depends on the company. Some ppl take it a bit far. I would go semi-casual for the first week. Then adjust after based on what my peers are wearing.

Yes prior to the pandemic our office was more casual on Fridays. That said, it really only meant that you could wear jeans and a polo (only if they were nice). Now it's "dress for your day"... so business if seeing clients. Business casual if not.
I'm a guy though, so our standard is probably a lot lower (sadly).
