Yeah, definitely don't take firm holidays if you want to make partner. Stop being lazy.
Deloitte consulting does not factor this in. Utilization takes a hit for Holidays and PTO
No not at PwC. It's already factored in
EY2- FSO looks at effective
If you charge 45 hr/week as is typical then it shouldn't be an issue as utilization assumes a 40 hr/ week so the extra 5 per week makes up for PTO and holidays.
It's their way of thinning the herd
(Were being sarcastic. It doesn't factor in anywhere)
It actually does at EY. Not joking. They look at full utilization, not effective.
LOL I hope not!
Jeeeeesus EY. That's brutal.
No, they don't. I have been in multiple roundtables. I am confident.
I am not saying they hold it against you but they look at full.
They look at effective utilization you f'n bot
Ok, whatever makes you guys happy
Yeah, you are definitely wrong EY2- it's effective
Yep unless it's sick leaves; Pto n firm holidays doesn't factor in utilization .they count effective .you are required to work a certain number of hours a year I don't remeber the number but you are pitted against that.also they look at overtime hours
EY2 you're trolling hard, everyone looks at effective utilization as the real number.
Let's keep this simple. Take your utilization target percentage and multiply by 2080. The balance are the number of hours you need to work to hit your target. That said, your target takes into account holidays and PTO.
