Please evaluate this initial offer for Apple ICT3. I think I was low balled, but I want to take more opinions. Currently Sr. MTS at VMware, received Apple ICT3. I was expecting to get to ICT4 but seems like team thinks upper end of ICT3 is more apt. Also, I think it is because I don’t have any counter offers yet.

Hi fellow fishies!
Can someone please explain what is “SUPPLEMENTARY allowance” in my payslip??? It is the highest in my entire payslip, more than basic salary. Basic is lets say ₹7 lac annually and supplementary bonus is ₹7 lac 40 thousand.
Can someone please explain why this exists in my paylslip, is it good or bad from tax perspective and shall I ask my HR to decrease it???
Please help asap.

I’m going through final interviews and want to see what your experience was like (negotiation process, initial offer higher/lower than expected?, did you give them a salary expectation range? How long did it take from final interview to offer etc) TIA!PwC EY KPMG Deloitte

Maybe the real story here is that ATL put bonus news behind an email list sign-up page? Poor form even for ATL.

Matched the Baker scale for those with 2000-2349 hours. Not impressed at all.
I cannot fathom that many people had 2600+ hours. So sorry for everyone with 2325 hours.

They must pay extra for the "make your own headline." Not going to get them out of the doghouse for paying above market for over 2600 hours and $0 for under 2k hours. I'd bet far more were under 2k than over 2400, let alone 2600.
That scale doesn’t apply to associates who opted out of the market-based pay scheme. That’s the majority of BSF associates.
SLRC, I can only imagine. Many years ago, there were associates who banked 7 figure bonuses after a major contingency recovery on behalf of AmEx against Visa and MasterCard.

This thread has not aged well. BSF is a very different firm today than it was five years ago when it counted Apple, Uber, Oracle, Goldman Sachs, HSBC, Barclays, etc. as clients. (Honestly not sure which of the Fortune 100 clients are left.) They are leaner and seemingly more plaintiff-focused than ever and have been crushing contingency cases. Wait and see how the PPP looks this year if you don’t believe me.
