Ernst and Young Performance Bonus - Bonuses are paid out on 7/30. I was told bonuses have already been determined and I don’t need to be employed on 7/30 (From HR). My understanding......I need to be at the firm when they are paid out? Can anybody confirm?

Interviewing for Cyber Sec role. At very beginning they ask salary exp. I said usual way to postpone that question, and to figure out their range for role. On final interview and I mentioned 85-95k and they said it’s on the lower end for role…. Did I lowball myself?
