Document everything that is written, no matter the form. Try to keep email primary form of written communication, but also keep texts / chat logs or screenshots if no logging.
You could also check to see if your state is single party consent for recording...
Yes and it's miserable. Keep in good communication with your admin team and document EVERYTHING. Then jump to a new project as soon as you can.
I'm in a similar situation and fortunately have leadership who knows exactly what's happening and supports me but for some reason has decided to keep her in place despite how miserable she is making everyone. This is why people leave.
This happens so often...mostly perpetuated by female managers smh
I'm convinced she has no friends based on how she is so obnoxious to everyone, including the client!! I feel like I'm in such a shitty position though because my last project ended due to a bad relationship with the PM, but he was from another firm. I don't want my management to think I'm the problem.
I've been there and it's never been with female managers but just simply inexperienced and incompetent mgrs that needs to pull CYA to protect themselves. Leadership have no clue these people will eventually screw them over as well since such mgrs have no loyalty and no integrity. Yes people leave when management continuously burns and betrays the knowledged, experienced, and hardworking people. The management will be left with more inexperienced while charging exorbitant fees to clients. I foresee such a group to either be dissolved or implode on itself. I've seen it happen to even half decent ones so this group is well on its way down the drain. Only a matter of time.
