I’m thinking of pursuing a part time role like 20 hours a week, grinding out assurance or tax deliverables for a smaller firm from year-end May or so. I had positions in private sector that allowed me to supplement having a degree with experience but not in public sector. One of the major challenges I've encountered in starting a union in my workplace is that people who are woke enough to know we need one are also the ones smart enough to jump ship.

So, a recruiter gave me feedback that my lack SPHR or SHRM-SCP is causing my resume to be knock out by AI and human recruiters despite my position and work history in Multinationals and being in Technology. They suggested that we put SPHR ( Lapsed). I let it lapse in 2017. What is your opinion? Plus if I were to take another certification - should I take SPHR or SHRM-SCP?
