Take as much time off as possible and prepare to be introduced to what love really is. Definition of happiness. End of selfishness.

Figure out your priorities with your SO. Discuss distribution of duties, decision makers etc. and congrats!
Congratulations. I had my 1st last year... wasn't expecting this much work. Everyone told me but I guess I just couldn't imagine it was at this level. Save up like crazy. We outsource laundry.. have cleaners and still doing chores/errands till 10pm most nights. Take any help offered( grandma, family etc.)
It doesn’t get easier, it just changes. I have 3 boys: 16, 14, 11.

Get sleep when you can. Take as much time off as your company allows. Figure out a schedule and try to stick to it.

We do both work but my wife will be going part time initially.

I do mine through Vanguard and have had a good experience. Depending on your state, there could be tax advantages, but many states do not.
Should have said earlier - UK based, but a S&S ISAwill be created. :)
The Junior ISA scheme is worth going into for the compounding, but bear in mind that the money is COMPLETELY untouchable until the child is of age. Not saying don’t do it, but use it knowing there’s absolutely no flexibility if those funds are needed sooner.
Join your local NCT class - not for what you will learn, but for the support network you will gain (especially Mum).
Just say yes. Mom always right
