EY GPS - going through the interview process now and clearance verification. There’s a question on the form asking if I’m willing to take a polygraph. I’m not hiding anything, just curious if that’s something that actually happens?

I’m looking for transitioning to a Product manager profile from current Product Owner profile. What are the typical interview questions I should prepare?

Though I’m SAFe PMPO certified, I believe any company would ask for hands on experience as a Prod M. What can I do to bypass that as my current org doesn’t have any Prod Manager opportunities.

Any suggestions would be really appreciated. This transition really means a lot to me and I seem to have hit a wall here

Is it common to negotiate software engineer salary at smaller companies? I know it’s common at FAANG, but what about for companies with around 200 engineers? I have a counter offer from my current company and on-site interviews scheduled for end of July with google and Amazon, but I’d prefer to go with the smaller local company if I can negotiate the salary (from offer letter) up another 5% or so.

I am worried if I tell my upcoming employer about being currently on OPT they will freak out and take back their offer even doh I can work and don’t need their sponsorship.

FL peoples: I signed a lease for a new place to start May 1 as my current landlord sold the unit I'm in. Turns out, the buyer wants to keep renting the unit and asked if I want to stay. Of course I want to stay. My new lease hasn't started so I'm pretty sure I can easily back out.
