I may have a better offer which could be shared only next week as approvals are in process , which offers me wfh option and a little better package and my joining in the next company LTI is on 8th Nov, I am unable to push the joining date to buy some time as HR denied on the same , please suggest me how should I tackle this situation as I’m more interested to join the one giving WFH ? I’m having the hardest time finding a new job. I have 12 years of HR experience, a masters in HR, SHRM certification, and all I keep getting are rejection emails. I got a job offer as a Tax Associate at PwC. I want to negotiate the salary but the HR said he cant just increase my salary since that would be unfair to other associates. The only thing he can do is to ask to compensation team and if the team approve, every in-coming associates would get a salary increase. Is that true?

Interview tomorrow for a tax associate opening at RSM. Been working in a mid-size city (different firm) that is about 70 minutes from this new home office in a larger metro. How flexible is WFH or dual model going forward post Covid? Am interested in this position and going to tax, but not be able to relocate for family reasons. Don’t want to drive 700 miles per week M-F. What will dual model be like going forward? 1-2 times week, 4-5 month? Seems like tax was more flexible than audit pre-Covid

If I'm forced to use my vacation, floater, etc. towards my study leave for CFE but I have vacation booked for right after CFE, will PwC still let me take that vacation as a "leave of absence"?
