Feeling like God really opened the door for me to come into MBB. I am an EH senior associate without the typical prestigious background (no MBA, state school undergrad, tech implementation background).

However, the second I got here my life has been awful. Dealt severely with long covid, had a highly abusive manager for my new hire pairing, couldn’t get staffed for months, and then was left to rot in the next case. Likely to be fired soon

I suffer from depression. Currently on 150mg Venafaxcine. It seems my depression is worse in the day and I come alive at night. Has anyone experienced this with or without Venafaxcine?

I feel like every company lies about “working your way up.” You’re never allowed to blatantly say that you don’t like your position and you’d like to transition to HR or Finance. It’s almost as if once you get in claims, you’re stuck.
