Feeling stuck. Currently in a Advisory/Risk Assurance role at non B4 and have mainly been doing SOX work since UG with other exp. mixed in. Planned on leaving earlier but was spooked by the COVID job market. Manager promo likely within 6-12 months, and while I like my company, I do not like my role.

Wait for manager promo to make a move elsewhere or just bite the bullet?

If I wait for manager, I can get additional PM exp. to accompany my PMP cert in hopes of getting a PM role elsewhere.

Take the manager position and try to move on level to a B4 firm. If you plan to continue in SOX etc....you may not even require a PMP so soon.

TC $135k Base PWC -$81$ + Bonuses ( 50k$)
