You need to learn to set boundaries.
At my first job, I was too eager to please and demonstrate my capabilities. I assumed working overtime would pay off but it didn't and I grew to resent the company. Learn to say no and push back respectfully of course, because it doesn't get easier. You have to set boundaries between work and your life outside of work early on.
It's easy to feel like you have something to prove when you start your career and you end up overworking yourself. No decent coworker or boss is going to expect that of you. Start setting boundaries and sticking to them.
