You know there's been a big snow storm in the northeast, right? Do you think their inbound flight might have been delayed?

Happens allll the time to me with aa. Even in good weathe.r.

Just AA things.

Happens on all airlines.. I am surprised there aren't at least some "on call" flight crews for these instances (maybe there are and we just don't know it)

There are. They just don't tell you when the on call crew saves your bacon

Now that I’m fully vaccinated and are many of my friends they want to go out to eat/drink. During covid I moved from a LCOL to here so I’m experiencing delayed sticker shock at the prices. Any tips?

Told a friend of mine in tech I was considering moving to BCG. He asked me if I would have to move to Boston.

I followed up by asking what he thought the top consulting firms were. "I'd guess PwC and then McKinsey are the best. I've also heard of KPMG, Deloitte, and Bain, but I don't know much about them."

Just a reminder that outside our bubble no-one really cares about firm prestige etc.
