Florida fish - help! : trying to sell my home and unbeknownst to me (and apparently the last 20 years of owners) our title description shows we own more than we do because the city owns 20 feet of our property dating back to a tax deed in the 90s. Is my only option to work with the city to be deeded that portion of land before selling? If so - does anyone have any connections in Tampa that could help??

For those w investment property, how many of you self manage vs using property manager? This is my first condo, relative new build from 2018 and a family friend jus moved out. I am defending an eviction for a client who has given possession of the property (as of Nov. 30). Plaintiff’s complaint has one claim – possession. They did request relief for attorney’s fees. NJT/Final Hearing commenced 10/27, was only 30 min and was therefore continued to 12/20. Plaintiff had counsel at that time but they are no longer represented.  I want to file something notifying Court that Plaintiff claim is now moot, making sure that judgment is not entered that hurts (cont'd)..
