Get a pair of adjustable dumbbells like the Bowflex SelectTech 552 ones and a folding flat bench. You can do a ton of excellent exercises this way, especially starting out.
Also I'd recommend a stationary bike. I use this one for when it's too cold to run outside and it's excellent. I just bought a little iPad mount thing which makes the workouts go by quick with Netflix on:

I personally like workouts found on YouTube. I search for 15-30 min workouts depending on how much time/energy I have. I especially enjoy intense dancing and yoga.
I do a workout with a group of guys every morning - outside - all year long. I’m I Chicagoland and the coldest I ever worked out in was -17 (worse with wind chills). It’s is absolutely crazy to do, but it is a fun crazy.
I participate anywhere from 2-5 times a week. The warm shower you take at home after 45 minutes working out in the cold is the best feeling in the world.
My advice, find someone to workout with. Doesn’t feel as nuts when your not alone.
(My use of “crazy” above is not meant to offend.)

Whenever anyone says Chicagoland outside of a mattress or car dealership commercial,
I assume they’re in Gary.

It’s not perfect, but I do equipment-free exercises at home (squats, lunges, planks) on days when it’s this cold. It’s easy enough to do while watching TV, too.
Water rower at home has been my everything. Can integrate it into other workouts, as you build up stamina (rowing five minutes, then 15 and so on).
Apple fitness has saved my life during these winters.
I signed up for Asana Rebel. It’s cheap and the workouts are good and quick.
I go to the gym daily because my body requires switching up activities (due to injuries). I do intervals on different equipment, with basics (like pushups) mixed in. The mask makes it tough to breathe at times, so I’ve popped into empty “classrooms” to do an unmasked interval. Yes, off-hours really helps.
