For those of you who began therapy over the past few months, how did you go about finding a therapist (word of mouth, certain websites) and evaluating who you wanted to work with?

And for those of you who have more experience working with a therapist, what do you look for in a therapist?

Ask your Primary Care doctor for recommendations. They should know some folks in the area.

As far as evaluating them, I had one criteria - do I feel comfortable talking to them and telling them things that I haven’t told anyone else. If you can’t do that, you won’t get the value out of therapy.

Headway or whatever will match you with therapists in your insurance network. Recommend!

I went to my old therapist.... and she is now remote. I love it. I tried a few places until I found someone I really liked, and can deal with my BS. I have more than just anxiety and depression and I need someone who can call me out. She does it.

Honestly lots of research.

Found a random engagement ring.

Hi all, so I found a platinum ring (which I assumed it's an engagement ring as it has dates and initials engraved on top.) And a Divvy tag (I have no idea what it was until I googled it. Apparently it's a bike sharing service in Chicago) in a briefcase I ordered online. I was thinking of returning the item back to the store but that wouldn't help the person who lost the ring. Attached is a picture of them.

What should I do now?

**I'm not in Chicago

5+ years of full-time job as developer and still waiting to reverse a LinkedList at work.

Since there is a heavy impetus on solving Tree, LinkedList, and Graph problems for tech interviews, it can naturally make freshers believe that these concepts will be used in day-to-day life at work. In reality, most of these DSA concepts are already implemented in some libraries our code uses and we rarely have to code such Algorithms by hand.

I have a final round interview for a job I’m extremely excited for tomorrow. I have been at my current job since July (unicorn startup). I also have been on medical leave for about a month and a half due to surgery. My current job is also just not quite the right fit for me. I don’t want to get too far ahead of myself but if I get the job, I’m a little worried about how it would come across to my current one. This isn’t a place I care about burning bridges too much but still it isn’t great.
