Former EY employee here. Joined EY in 2014 and left in 2018 as a senior 3. I believe I was vested in the pension. Just wondering if there’s a way to find out and does EY still offer pension buyout?

is consulting a far more lucrative career path than something like audit/assurance/tax/accounting as far as big 4 goes? i mean from what i’ve seen in consulting, $150k-$200k by age 30 from graduating college (22) seems very realistic. asking bc i’ve known people that go into assurance or accounting and exit after just a year or two to some small companies to chase a regular 9-5 that i doubt would hit those numbers that fast and i never understood why.

Currently 23 going up for promo in June, should will be making 132k as a Senior Associate with 1.5 years experience. I know this is obviously above the average based on my age and experience, but I can’t help but feel my outcomes would be different in big tech. Anyone have input? I get a bonus, albeit around 10-15% but I get no equity which is where I feel tech has the biggest difference

Just received an email from Health Advances asking me to submit a cover letter on why I’m interested in healthcare consulting. Is this normal? Never had to do this for my other interviews. My background is in healthcare so don’t see why that’s necessary.
