If all the top consulting firms made anonymous decks or gave anonymous pitches to a client, eg no branding and the client did not know which firm made which deck, do you actually think that the client would prefer MBB?  Is MBB actually coming up with better/more innovative solutions? Firm has applied for my GC but i dont have an approved i140 yet. My GC application and my home office location is in state X. And i’m planning to move to a state Y which is under 50 miles from my old home location. So my question is, if I change the states but the new location is under 50 miles will that be a problem for my green card application? Anyone here work at PwC treasury and commodities? I've got an offer as SA2 but also hold one from another consulting company for the same level but within financial services (energy and commodities is my background). The offers are pretty similar although the other company put more emphasis on its people but I'm swaying towards pwc. I want to know what kind of projects to expect, will it be tech transformation/implementation or more strategy and advisory for traders

Get thanked for my complimentary followup sent post-final interview. 48hrs later, same recruiter (on speakerphone) tells me job is now hold and "you must be upset" and good luck in your search.

How do I become better at strategic thinking ? What else can I be doing ?

Here's what I have been doing
1. Reading books - the usual ones that come up on Google search
2. Reading past annual reports/investor reports to see how strategy played out

Writing annual goals. What are examples of how to write “quantifiable” goals as a consultant? Are you measuring number of relationships built, projects, or something else?

Most of consulting is advising on solutions to problems, but I don’t control the outcome, whether the advice is implemented, or the budget. Sales is easy (e.g. “sell $2M of products/services this year”) because there is a clearly defined measurement. What can consultants measure?
