I'm a resource management and PMO senior Assoicate in HCL Technologies and my current CTC is 4.8 LPA with 5 YOE and I have an offer from Capgemini for a senior associate RMG. I'm done with all my rounds and have also uploaded documents for verification. During my initial discussions I said my expected is CTC 8-8.5 LPA. I'll soon be getting into an HR call for discussion regarding my salary. How much should I settle for? And also is switching from HCL to Capgemini a good decision?

I have got an offer letter from Morgan Stanley for the QA role in regulatory reporting. Currently I am in a BA role with 7 yrs experience. In MS they are giving a good hike (45%) plus joining bonus. Not sure at this stage should i switch from BA to QA role.

What is typically the policy for putting the deals you have worked on in your resume? I have seen conflicting notes on whether you can include or not (only the deals that are closed and public)

Recently joined a project that’s been in flight for long time. Onboarding hasn’t been great, not sure who my Point of contact is, where we are in the process (since they started such a long time ago and the SoW is outdated by at least 2 years), what the objectives are for this phase of work. Manager sort of just says things that suggests I should know, which deters me from asking Qs. They recently came across as a bit annoyed when I’d ask a few Qs. Not sure if they fee the onboarding decks…tbc

Does anyone regret joining a boutique consulting firm? I signed with a startup out of college (spring 2020) whose founding partners were all partners/Sr leaders at a few T2s. Our firm is super small (dozen FTEs) but does really good work (we charge premium rates and work super cool projects). I’m just having second thoughts as exit opportunities aren’t as prevalent as I thought, the pay/benefits don’t match industry/risk of joint a startup, and I’m not getting the network of a Big4 or MBB

Anybody here have a Canon R and thinking about the R6 Mk 2? I'm debating. Biggest negative for me is the drop from the 30 mp sensor down to the 24 mp sensor. I don't do alot of "action" photography so many of the enhanced R6 features won't get used alot. I don't do video.

I think ISO is better in the R6 Mk 2. I do miss the joystick on my old 7D. IS seems greatly improved.

He has applied fr the match last yr & was nt able to match. Match process costs around USD10k; this year he is applying again after borrowing funds frm different sources bt he is under tremendous pressure to get match. So i have been fortunate that i have managed to go through my career without the need for a degree. I was lucky enough to have been hired by one of the worlds top consulting firms, worked with a whole lot of big clients and travelled a lot. It's gotten to the point where I am not even asked about the lack of a degree on my resume. Personally though, it bothers me.
