Genuine question: is it possible / how do you request to get laid off? My coworkers are fine but I genuinely hate the work in consulting and this, coupled with the pandemic and BLM and family issues at home has been destroying my mental health that I cry myself to sleep every night. Every day feels like hell and the only thing that keeps me going is that I’m one day closer to my death, work gives me no chance to rest and take care of my mental health and I am ready to quit, even without a backup

It’s looking like my job is gonna start asking us to return to the office. We have an open office plan and before we wfh FT I would save all my work for my telework days bc I can’t get shit done in the office. I’m having major anxiety about them making this decision. I am only 4 months into being a surgical coordinator. I love the position itself however I am struggling to adapt into my new work environment. My position puts me in a place where I need to interact with my new coworkers but they are not as welcoming as I expected. There is also another surgical coordinator however I have come to find from other staff that there is a long history of her running other staff away and not fully training other surgical coordinator staff properly.
