Thoughts on thoughts on thoughts on MBA?
Hello Mastercard employees. I have been trying to break into MC for long now.
I have 2 yrs workex post MBA. I have experience in data analysis and consulting. But I don't want to get into consulting anymore. I am looking for analytics roles. Anyone here would be able to DM and guide me on the available options at Mastercard?

look outside of US, you don't want to get into this vicious cycle of visas and uncertainty. Decide the best while you can.
You don’t reckon that we’ll have ridden out the visa situation by 2023? It’s bad now but I’d expect it to improve in 3 years time. Especially seeing how unpopular Trump is becoming now.
Go to INSEAD and then MBB in Singapore ;)
Friend did this! SG MBB - awesome travel hotel and food. Meh hours compared to US but much better than Korea / Japan
After all these issues I bow to your courage of doing masters 🙏
anywhere except US...dont dump your savings on US degree especially if you are an immigrant. return is big zero.
LBS has a pretty solid program from what I hear. Plus London is amazing!
Cambridge univ, London school of business, national univ of Singapore, indian institute of management, univ of Toronto

If you want to go anywhere, it's LBS or INSEAD. Otherwise, it depends on where you want to get your first post-MBA job.
I got my MBA at London Business School. LBS and INSEAD are the top European business school programs on par with top US programs. The UK has given 2-year right to work to any future MBA classes, so definitely less uncertainty for international students than the USA right now.

Depends on where you wanna end up at. Given covid situation, I’d imagine most countries would behave similarly unless they have lower supply of foreign talents.
I know things suck like crazy but I’m slightly on the optimistic side that things will get better. Also this is a temporary thing, there’s no way on earth that the US will cut off h1b or reduce significantly over a longer period of time.

Depends on what ur priorities are rly.. If a priority is to work in the country u study in, then the us is a crapshoot. If however, ur priority is to get what is objectively one of the best bschools in the world - the quality and number of options in the us, still makes this an attractive option. Not saying there aren't good schools elsewhere, simply saying playing the numbers game there are a larger number of good options in the us than elsewhere...
Feel like u will get rly biased feedback to ur question today, so maybe think through what ur key driver is for the decision. As an fyi - did an MBA in the us, after moving from Asia... My priority wasn't to stay in the us long term, hence was okay with the us purely as a study option - and work for a while if the right offer came along
