I have no friends. 28 still single. Everyone is married and at different stages in life. My college friends are drifting apart - talking about kids, engagements etc. Anyone feeling this way?

Has anyone found roles in Big 4 or industry that allowed more work life balance when their kids were young without damaging future career trajectory? I'm a partner with young kids and feel like I'm missing out on too much of their lives. Wishful, but my dream job would have a lighter workload in terms of time and pressure for the next ~5 years, but not set me back too much (or at all) when the kids are older and tired of me in a few years and I'm ready to be back at work full force.

So what have you learned after working side-by-side with your spouse for a week?

Question for the married 🐠- Have you ever gone to couples therapy? If so, how did it work out for you? Did it help and do you now live your life happily ever after? Or did it just delay the inevitable and you are no longer in a relationship with your significant other? I’ve seen so many people go to therapy only to end up breaking up shortly afterwards and dropping some serious $$$

Has anyone ever been in a mostly platonic relationship? I don’t like to label myself much, but I don’t really like intimacy and don’t really like romance. I am in a long distance relationship with someone who is currently in B school. He spends pretty much all his breaks and holidays traveling with his classmates. Most of the time I am fine.
