Make a 1/2 page of all the EVA formula and all of the WBS of the PMBOK and all of the other key points you know will be on the exam. Practice writing that page several times. As soon as you sit down in the exam carroll, take one of the blank sheets of paper they give you and brain dump your half page of notes and formulae as a reference sheet and refer to it during the exam as your crib notes. You'll pass.
Yes. It's worth it. Depending on role you can get a significant bump in pay and a lot of times employers look for the cert due to contract requirements (mostly in fed space although I'm commercial)
@pwc2 thank you! Exactly what I was looking for!
This worth taking?
My pleasure. I've had my PMP for 15 years. When you adhere to the principles of the PMBOK, the credential is completely worth the time and effort. Not every project needs every PMBOK element, but as you lead and learn, every one of the knowledge areas are in your toolbox. Use them. Wisely.
PMP is cake bro. Spend your weekends crushing booze and whatever sex suits you.
OP you will not get a bump in pay.
What flash cards ?
Is this exam actually worth it.
@D1- created flash cards to memorize the formulas and processes. Useful so far
Literally the most useless thing you'll ever do... PMP in O&G here - never used it, no pay bump while staying in consulting...
Sample tests!!! Over and over until you've gotten a hang of the questions and know your weak spots.
